I have 2 sweaters in progress. The first, all the parts are done but the long (boring!) piece for the cowl-type collar. So, that's first this morning. The second, I need to finish the front right shoulder and then the sleeves. Figure I'll finish that sometime this evening, get both sweaters blocked tonight, and then assemble them tomorrow. And voila--2 projects and *12* balls of yarn done with.

Still to go:
second pair of Turkish socks (got about 1 1/2" left, then the ribbing)
By's blue celtic socks (halfway done with the second sock)
the aran circular afghan
the "graceful" wrap (started in Nov....needs about a week of steady knitting)
Robyn's purple triangle shawl (about half done, need to finish by the first of April)

Want to start:
baby stuff for Courtney--at least one sweater, and an afghan, whatever else I have time for
some thick wool socks for classics_cat's man
some fine-gauge cotton socks for myself

In other news--Robyn had a decent Sat attendance and sales at the gallery. Nice change. She stil hasn't decided if she's going to the Baltimore show or not.

Just finished the collar piece for the first sweater. It's now a soggy pile, wrapped up in towels next to the heater. It's not the standard method of blockign knitting, but I lack the cat-free horizontal space to just stretch things out and let them lay there until dry. So, I get it stretched, then roll up the towels (carefully!) and put the more compact bundle off to dry somewhere.

Got the first sweater blocked; it's nearly dry. Finished the body of sweater #2 AND!! the first sleeve already; got the body blocked. Will block the sleeve together so they come out the same size (always nice, matching sleeves).

And....I found time to shave my legs today. How's that for progress?

Finished second sleeve and got those blocked too. THe first sweater, as yet unsewn, has been Baggins-approved....I unrolled it to dry, and he promptly decided to nap on it. Oh well, it's washable yarn.

Took some time away from the knitting this afternoon to putter through patterns and start thinking about what's next. Need to start some baby stuff for Courtney. She's due June 8, so I'm thinking some winterish things in the 6-9 month size. And the obligatory baby afghan, of course. Which means going out and getting more dark green yarn, since the other baby afghans I've done for my coworkers have all been a nice dark fescue green. (It's a turf thing, that's all you really need to know.)

Pulled out the Turkish socks to work on in what remains of this evening. I plan to spend tomorrow alternating between cleaning house and knititng on By's blue celtic socks.
