Last day of vacation
Dec. 3rd, 2002 09:28 amWith a simple change in schedule, I went in for one day last week, then got a whole week off for Thanksgiving. I love my goverment job!
Been knitting as much as possible this week, trying to finish things. I spent Sat afternoon with my friend Donna--ladies' day in. She was sewing a skirt for her mom, I took a pile of almost done things and did seams and ends. SO now, everything that's off the needles is completely done.
So far, I've finished two pair of child-sized mittens and one scarf. Plan on doing more, and dropping them off a little before Christmas. I've decided the 2-needle mitten pattern I was using is fast, but I spend too much time sewing seams, so I'm going to change it to a 4-needle pattern. Wish me luck.
If I finish the vest that's next on the list today, I'm going to reward myself by starting a baby sweater for Courtney.
