treeskinThere was a Sock Report for yesterday. If I've forgotten that, I do need a nap.
The Sock Report: Between getting to the seminar very early, and taking a little knitting time during the stand-up-and-stretch breaks, I'm up to the gusset increases of the first cotton sock. I'm doing these n my size, not gift size, since I've never used this yarn before, and I'd like to see how durable it is. It is very very soft (75% cotton / 25% nylon), just not sure it'll stay that way. And I got lots of comments and compliments on my knitting while I was there. The contigent from one of the big nurseries was vastly amused by my comparing it to smoking, only I can still knit inside.
The UnSock Report: 8" done on By's sweater. For a very cheap acrylic (the Walmart house brand, Mainstays, or something like that), it has a nicer hand than I expected.
