Clapotis wrap. Mine is in a hndpainted worsted wool my mother-in-law gave me, a couple of Christmases back, either #8 or #10 needles, can't remember which now. Don't look too close at the pics, because I realized when I pulled it out for the photo shoot that I hadn't blocked the silly thing yet. I will do more pics once that's done, and you can see how truly neat this pattern is.

Fenna is a very basic Faroese shawl from Myrna Stahlman's Shawls and Scarves. Top-down, knit-to-fit, garter stitch, no lace to speak of, simple and clever shoulder shaping, and a truly wonderful yarn. The yarn is a hand-painted mohair/rayon loop I got at Yarn Barn's end-of-year sale last December. Knitted up on 10's, it's plush and soft and decadent.

All those lovely qualities of the yarn don't show up well in the pics though, but the nice color range does. And again, don't look at it too close, because I finished this shawl just as it was warming up this spring, so it got put away before it was blocked. Hopefully, I'll get it blocked this afternoon.
