Woke up this morning to a very quiet bedroom--I thought we'd had a power outage. Which, of course, catapults me awake, long enough to query By, who said that it was just the bedroom (???), and he'd set his phone alarm, and go back to sleep. Later puttering determines that it's probably the electric space heater we've got back in his workroom, because when that was turned off, the bedroom came back on.

**shakes head** Our best guess is that (a) the two space heaters are old (one heated the greenhouse for a couple of winters), and their switches draw more than they should when they turn on and off, and (b) our house doesn't have enough circuits.

I've got to be a responsible adult this morning, and get my long-term-care insurance enrollment done. It's something new they're offering from work...mine's easy, employees can enroll online, I'll have to do paperwork and fax it in for By.

Correction: Don't have to worry about faxing things for By before next Friday. Whew. That simplfies matters. Just have to figure out their website, now.

Especially coming from Dr B, who's also a Baptist minister. So, I've got to share:

"Say, did you hear that they're giving Viagra to old en in nursing homes now? It keeps them from rolling out of bed."
