Technically, I got six hours' sleep last night, but it wasn't in one nice, restful block, so I'm as tired now as when I went to bed last night. Somehow, I'm supposed to make it through the day, make some time to work on my class, and oh, yeah, go inventory things at an HSA Registration meeting. They might have to do that without me...I'm barely awake enough *now* to count and keep track of things, and I doubt I'll be in any shape to do that by 7:30 tonight.
Got in to work late today, too. There was a fairly major accident at Hwy 7 and I70 this morning. By the time I got there, everything was hauled off and they were nearly finished cleaning up the debris, so traffic was still buggered. Spent 12 minutes, trying to go that mile from the on-ramp onto south-bound 7, to the 7/70 stoplight. Gack.
Got very little done last night...just too tired. My main accomplishment was getting a pile of hand-wash-only socks washed and hung to dry (although I missed two pair). Got the kilt hose done, too. I've got to mend my grey alpaca socks...seems like something found them tasty, and each sock has a hole in it now. Not what I'd wanted to use the leftover yarn for, but at least I've got matching leftovers to fix it with.
Going to have to get used to the hamster noises in the office. Donna brought a new pet into the greenhouse--an apricot-colored teddybear hamster. (Which is basicly a ball of fluff with a rat's face at one end.) He doesn't have a name yet, but he's fairly personable, and seems to like to be handled. And he likes cereal. (We don't have rat treats in here anymore, since they made Donna take the rats home, all we had for hamster snacks was this stuff that's like cheerios, slightly sweetened. He's welcome to it, the humans don't eat it much.)
