Mar. 25th, 2005 07:15 amStill raining, just a little bit. Didn't get anything productive done at work yesterday, except for reading the newest issue of Smithsonian. Today looks like likely to be useful...it's still cool, still damp, and the boss called in sick. I have a work order to "please come clean up rabbit poop in the playground" of the child care facility--if there's anything left after the rain--and I need to talk to the lady over there about the rabbit repellant she wants us to put on the fence. Liquid Fence is more repellant than poop in the grass, I think. *shakes head* Sometimes I think people here (at work, I mean) have a distorted view of reality--a dozen rabbit turds in the grass constitute a "big pile" that's a major health hazard to the little kids. Good grief, just watch the kids, that's what you're paid for.
Got a little string done last night--couple more rounds on the rug. It was 47x58" at last measurement. Go me! I'd hoped to get more done, but I just can't string and keep up with typing at two people.
Stayed up a bit later than I'd intended last night, IM'ing people. And Pet called, at nearly 11; guess he'd been trying to call most of the evening, but the line was busy. Ooops. He said his group has moved their drum rehearsals to the camping area they've sponsored out at Gaea, so he'll be out there Sat evenings all summer. Which is cool, because that means he'll be around while we're out doing firetender things a week from tomorrow. I should rest up. Just in case.
