Jan. 22nd, 2005 07:17 am5:30 came as a rude awakening this morning....we forgot to set the alarm last night, and I woke up at 5:34, blinking and muttering oh shit, which woke By. Was only 15 minutes late to work, which wasn't bad at all, since the boss walked in just ahead of me. That tailwind halfway to work helped.
We've already had one minor disaster this morning: the guy I was working with dropped his radio in the trash compactor while it was running. At least, we think that's where it landed. He's off to find a flashlight and look for it. Add one more thing to the list of why I'd rather not carry a radio.
Courtney's supposed to bring her little one in this morning, since Donna and I haven't seen the baby in months. Ought to be a fun break.
By's planning to be off to work on that tile job today, at least get started on it. Richard hasn't decided where it's going yet, which complicates things. But By can at least work on taking apart the make-do counter, and get ready to put the new tiles on.
