It's going to be one of those weeks
Dec. 7th, 2004 10:31 amFirst, I forgot that I told Donna I'd help her teach Dr. Steven's design class tonight. By's got the car, and likely won't be home in time, and I don't have that much voice back anyway. But still, I feel like a heel for forgetting.
Second, I finally picked up my new uniform pants, to take the tags off and wash them before putting them away. And, of course, they're all the wrong size. *sigh* The uniform company does something like this every year. So I call work, and yes, they've screwed up bunches and bunches this year, and the secretary tells me to bring them in and she'll return them. It'll be Jaunary before I get the replacements.
Third, while I'm on the phone with the secretary, she tells me that Maintenance Director has decided that since HE is busy next Wednesday, the department dinne is moved up to tomorrow. (insert favorite rude word here) The head carpenter is telling people to bring whatever they did last year, if they can remember. Bother. I can't remember what I did last week, let alone last year. It will not be as nice a dinner on this short notice, but it does give me an easy day tomorrow, which I probably need.
And to top it all off, Baggins (the white and light grey cat) is sleeping on the finished sleeve of By's black sweater.
