another slow day at work (thank the gods)
Nov. 9th, 2002 07:00 amI really need a nap. Odds are good I'll get one. I've already got everything done that needs to be done until after lunch today.
Still don't know if my sister will be visiting us today. She'd talked about it last week, but we haven't heard since, and her plans tend to change suddenly. If Harry (her hubby) changes his mind, or gets upset about something (usually somethign stupid).....I'd like to see her, but we're busy enough right now that this weekend isn't a good time for company, and Amy & family are high-maintenance company. I just don't think I have the energy.
It's less than 2 weeks until Robyn's annual show. By's supposed to have *a piece* of his metalwork in the show, if he gets something done. If he gets something designed between now and then, Robyn has said she'll let him use the studio after hours to make it. And the corset is still a roll of leather. Ah, deadlines.
Other good news at work: all my bulbs are in the ground (before the ground gets really cold, hurray!). That's about 2000 crocus, 600 large-cupped daffodils, 500 rock-garden daffs, 1000 miniature iris, and about 1000 tulips. With bed prep and all, about 4 days planting time. We weren't in a hurry. But still, not bad.
