One more gripe from yesterday, then I'll find something else to post, I promise

On top of the weather, and aching joints from kneeling on cold ground and colder concrete to plant flower beds, and the news yesterday, I get home from work to find a present soeone left for me: one of the fur-children puked in the water dish. Not merely a hairball, but a full-belly "I ate my cat food too fast" pile, right into the water dish. Eeewwwwww. And since I was the first person with thumbs to find it, I got to clean it up. Eeeewwwwwwww.

As someone who is living with cats for the first time in many moons, I have new found sympathy for this problem.
