If that wasn't spooky enough, getting to work this morning was an adventure. Cars are not meant to spin in circles like boomerangs. I am not meant to be driving a car that's doing that before I've had any caffeine. But I'm fine, the car's fine, and I managed to get my heart started again. For the record, there's a BIG patch of ice at the top of the southbound ramp from Hwy 24 onto Hwy 7.
Still no sock report. I got distracted doing the doilies. Need to work on that. Those alpaca socks would be nice to come home to on a day like this.
Spent most of yesterday morning figuring out why our internet didn't work Mon night-Tues morning. Apparently, our provider's credit card payment program crashed, and so it thought we hadn't paid and so it turned us off. That's the third time it's done that in 6 months. They fixed it, gave us a credit, and apologized abjectly. I'm still irritable.
