Trying to cheer myself up by thinking of string...

Got one square done last night, nothing fancy. So, I'm up to 70-odd plus one. And, Cammie, I'm still working on a pattern for a square done in that yarn you liked on Sunday. I'll get back to you when I figure something out.

Am 2/3 done with the second dragonscale gauntlet. Probably could have finished it had I knitted another hour last night, but knitting is trumped by quality time with the husband. Brought it with me, in hopes of getting in a round or two during my lunch break.

OOOOh!

I'd love to see a pic of that dragon scale pattern. Sounds cool! I started a cashmere scarf this weekend. Just a biased yarn over pattern, but ooh, so soft :)

The pic isn't super close, but it's the same pattern stitch as on this sock (http://www.mlminspirations.com/patterns/Wyvern/index.html). I'll try to get a pic this weekend.

Oooo, cashmere. I've been drooling over the new cashmere blends at Knitpicks, but I've been virtuous so far, and not ordered any.

Now picture that stitch on a fingerless glove that goes from 1.5" above my elbow, to the first jointes of my fingers. In that scarlet yarn I got Sunday.

Yes, it's quite nice.

Okay, that'll be just AWESOME!!! I can't wait to see them! Thanks for the pattern :)
The cashmere wasn't so expensive. I think I payed $12.00 for the skein and it got me a couple of scarves, if not three. I know, I usually don't pay that much a skein either, but it was also scarlett and oh, so soft and I just couldn't resist!
