The rest of my day...
HSA meeting was fairly productive last night, at least the part I was there for was. I left early, because it was getting late, and I hadn't been home yet, and needed to shower and do all of those things. Didn't get home last night until after 9:30...that's too long a day, especially for a whirlwind Tuesday.
By regaled me on the way home with tales of his boss's latest declarations. Seems Robyn greeted him with an ass-chewing about how he'd not gotten anything done in the studio while the wedding was going on. WTF? Apparently, he was supposed to let them in and then shut himself in the studio and work the whole time, unless they started a major fire or something. Yeah, right. And she did, in fact, call the renters and ask them to pay for his time there on Saturday, which undid all his work generating goodwill in one phone call. Dumb broad. He said after the ass-chewing, she left with Terry to walk the dog, and they both came back very very cheerful. Kinda makes you wonder....At the very least, it sounded like she was taking out her disappointment about the poor showing in LA on By, who really was doing his best to keep the studio running smoothly in her absence.
He did remind her that today was payday, and that she owed him money for shipping those catalogs last week. He said she's been squirrelly enough about money lately that he made a copy of his timecard, and added it up, so he can verify the hours she lists on his paycheck. **shakes head** It's definitely time to get him out of there.
By also got to remind his boss that she's got at least 60 drawing due for Dem Dako by January...so, one a day, more if that other set of designs got accepted. On top of everything else they're trying to do right now. I'm almost dreading the annual show. If she's this stressed and oevr-committed already, it's just going to get worse between now and the middle of November.
Got a little knitting done last night at the meeting...finished the back of my peacock plumes vest, started on the front right piece. Hope to get some quality time with the close-to-done baby stuff tonight, and with kilt hose this weekend.
