Mom's White Chili
Mom's White Chili
This recipe is from my mom; can't remember where she got it.
1 c diced onion
2 cloves of garlic, diced
2 1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp oregano
4 chicken breasts, diced
2 cans chicken broth, seasoned
1, 4-oz can green chilis
2 med bell peppers, diced
2, 15-oz cans Great Northern white beans
shredded cheese
corn chips
Cook chicken, peppers, and onions until chicken is done. Add everything else but cheese and chips. Simmer. If you like thick chili, add flour to thicken (3 T), but you may need to add more spices.
Serve with crushed chips and cheese.
