(no subject)

Looks like the rain is back. Since New Boss is absent, and Maintenance Supervisor likely to be holed up in his office after yesterday production of "getting the department proactive on weeds", I will succuumb to the temptation of string. Have knitting, will travel.

No knitting suspension slings or anthing binding now... you must behave. ;) Enjoy the rain.

*sigh* You've really got a one-track mind lately, have you noticed?

[identity profile] tnrkitect.livejournal.com 2005-06-30 05:53 pm (UTC)(link)
Let's just say, that there is one EXTREEMELY FRUSTRATED cat-type person at this end of the message. One that has been spending time with a very good looking, yet unobtainable woman. One that just had any chances for possibly having a fun time camping after building a deck quashed. One who is missing out on a wild b-day party tomorrow night where thare will be an above average chance of finding some quick relief, because I'll be driving to Nashville.

Sensing a trend here that might be a cause of that mind set?

[identity profile] treeskin.livejournal.com 2005-06-30 08:22 pm (UTC)(link)
Yup. 'Nuff said. *wicked grin* Not going to mention how often I've been getting some lately....

[identity profile] noveldevice.livejournal.com 2005-06-30 05:42 pm (UTC)(link)
It sounds like most of the department is fine on weeds, it's just that some of the employees need to be gotten proactive on work.

[identity profile] treeskin.livejournal.com 2005-06-30 05:48 pm (UTC)(link)
*snort* Not that I can say much today, considering how much of today I've spent knitting, but it's really just one particular employee that needs to be more proactive about actually working (instead of flirting with secretaries in the second-floor offices, which is his normal).

[identity profile] bladed-pentacle.livejournal.com 2005-06-30 05:50 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, we've never seen anyone out there spend time flirting with anyone while they're on the clock. That'd be a first.

[identity profile] tnrkitect.livejournal.com 2005-06-30 06:30 pm (UTC)(link)
But wouldn't you say that is a rarity, reserved for special occasions with a special person? As opposed to being a normal everyday occurence?

[identity profile] treeskin.livejournal.com 2005-06-30 08:24 pm (UTC)(link)
*sheepish look*

I would have said that, two weeks ago, but someone is developing a phone call habit. That someone's work is still getting done, but gee whiz, 2-3 times a day....

[identity profile] treeskin.livejournal.com 2005-06-30 08:23 pm (UTC)(link)
Pot kettle black.

(Don't point that finger at me unless you plan to use it, sir.)

[identity profile] tnrkitect.livejournal.com 2005-06-30 08:25 pm (UTC)(link)
Are you sure you want that taunt out there dear? *evil grin* I can give some pointers on various ways to use fingers..... and what experience has taught me....

[identity profile] treeskin.livejournal.com 2005-06-30 08:37 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes, but you're far, far away, and anyway, I'm not sure he needs the extra (pardon the pun) pointers.

3/30 Excersise Program

'nuff said.

***BLUSH!!***

Not sure I could keep up with three of you, dear as you all are. Especially with your particular....endurance....coming into play.

[identity profile] tnrkitect.livejournal.com 2005-06-30 08:46 pm (UTC)(link)
Somebody down here doesn't know what she's missing, does she?

[identity profile] treeskin.livejournal.com 2005-06-30 08:54 pm (UTC)(link)
I keep telling you that, and offering to write letters of recommendation.

[identity profile] tnrkitect.livejournal.com 2005-06-30 09:04 pm (UTC)(link)
Feel free to, Just don't expect much. And do if you do, be careful of wording. Considering the convo we had the other night, she's not likely to be willing to listen, and it might even backfire and strain the friendship she and I have even more.

[identity profile] treeskin.livejournal.com 2005-06-30 09:07 pm (UTC)(link)
Which is why I haven't considered it seriously. I do have a little tact and decorum, every now and then. (And Tristan, don't you dare bite on that one!)

[identity profile] adammaker.livejournal.com 2005-06-30 07:10 pm (UTC)(link)
My lil brain is hung up on the phrase "proactive on weed(s)".
Work can be an land o' Odd.

[identity profile] treeskin.livejournal.com 2005-06-30 08:21 pm (UTC)(link)
My fault; my choice of phrasing. Blame it on 4-5 hrs of sleep a night for most of the month since Heartland.

[identity profile] adammaker.livejournal.com 2005-06-30 08:31 pm (UTC)(link)
Fair enough,
as it sounds like it has been quite the ride.

Pun intended.

**blush**

Funny, that was mentioned a couple nights ago. "What a long, strange trip it's been" seems to be our theme song.
