I had access to clinical abortion services when I needed them (granted very uncomfortable access, it was the "Summer of Love" in Kansas that summer). That enabled much in my life, since.

So I'm saving this information, and hoping I and my loved ones never need it.

On a somewhat lighter note...

It's a disorganized sort of Monday. I ought to be doing any number of Very Important Things, but right now, I'm enjoying the fact that the headache I woke up with has finally succumbed to Tylenol. Did get the laundry started. That ought to count for something.

Haven't heard from By yet, about the truck fixing. Hopefully that goes well. Have no idea when he plans to be back tonight.

Never did hear from my sister on Saturday. Must remember to call and check on her sometime this week. (But not today, that's more stress than I need today.)

I'm drinking tea today, in the hopes of calming the three-week-long woozy stomach I've been dealing with. Am hoping that it's from allergy/sinus issues, and not that ulcer trying to make a comeback. Probably a futile hope, but....

The marmalade/jelly turned out ok...softer than I'd like, I should have cooked it another ten or fifteen minutes, but tastes lovely. 2 lemons and 3.5 pounds of kumquats made 17 half-pint jars. We had fresh orange jelly on hot biscuits for brunch yesterday. Kitchen still smells like oranges.

Update on the truck

It doesn't have any tires, and it's up on blocks. Hmmmm.

Bugger.

By called a little bit ago, said they were about 30 minutes south of Omaha and headed home. Which puts him home a lot later than I'd hoped for. So much for getting any quality time with him this week.
