I can go home in 10 hours

Just not motivated today. Spent all day Thurs and Fri spraying...a total of 125 gallons of Roundup, and 4 gallons of Manage (an herbicide meant for nutsedge...it's something you spot-spray with, and 4 gallons is a lot). And I need to look at the weather, see if I can go spray more stuff this morning. Blech.

By worked for Robyn yesterday, and he's working for Terry today on a different project. Seems Terry's going to be using him for the fiddly finishing details. That's not too bad, that's a valuable skill. And Terry gave him a raise already, $.50 an hour.

It's already a heavily booked weekend....we're going to a friend's for dinner tonight, driving to Manhattan to meet my mom and grandma for lunch tomorrow, and Cat's coming over on Monday for a visit. And somewhere in there I need to spend some quality practicing.

Oops. The new boss just walked in and caught me lj-ing. Didn't seem to mind too much though. He just left the office, walked across the bubble wrap on the floor, and out the door. Hmmmmm....6:15, the new boss is late today.

Guess I should get away from here and get to work.

The UnSock Report

Okay, I'm not to work yet. Nearly forgot:

(no subject)

My motivation to work today has fallen sharply since I caught the new boss snoozing quietly watching the weather radar (for an hour) in his office. He said he was planning to leave early today, too. *crosses fingers* IF he does, the shop grunt and I can sneak out early.

Got one tank's worth of spraying done, which is half of the roads and parking lots on campus. We're supposed to be getting rain soon, so I stopped and spent a leisurely hour and a half cleaning the spray rig. Very exciting. But hey, I get paid by the hour.

Hey, [livejournal.com profile] classics_cat

I think I found your wrapped cardi pattern. Go here, and go about halfway down the page...the adult version of the baby origami kimono. It says you need the magazine with the baby-sized version to do it, but I'm sure I have that issue running around somewhere.
