Beyond merely needing a nap
I think a nap was all I got last night/this morning. Blech. Good thing the boss is "sick" this morning--that lowers the expectations for my productivity (which is always low this time of year). I've had 4 hrs of sleep, and I'm going to stay up until midnightish working a major art show. I though your wisdom score was supposed to improve as you got older.
The corset isn't *quite* done, so I'll just wear the skirt & blouse without it tonight. Probably for the best; I'll be really tired at the show tonight, and add in the corset......If I'm going to be this wiped out, I might as well be comfy.
I'm going to give the shop a laugh this afternoon. I brought my nail polish (you didn't think I owned such a thing, did you?), and I'm going to have my assistant help me do my nails (that's the "other duties as assigned" part). I don't think my coworkers have ever seen me do anything more girlish than brushing my hair. Ought to be fun.
I took the white shawl off its needles before diving into the knitting last night--20" diameter. Not bad for something I started just a couple of days ago. So far, it's more the unbleached wool/cream shades than pure white, but it looks really cool. I'm getting ideas. This is dangerous.
