Requiem
Theodore Roosevelt Phillips, 1907 - 2002
Grandpa Phillips left us this afternoon, from complications of pneumonia.
I don't know what else to say; I didn't know him very long, but I do know he had a powerful influence on Byron--mentor, teacher, friend. His sense of craftsmanship & his work ethic made Byron the amazing person he is now.
We will miss him terribly.
I kow that the funeral will be held in Star Lake, New York, probably Thursday. I don't know when we're leaving or how long we'll be gone.
