I broke out the 5" long needles for my temari last night. I could get used to these--they seem to give a litte more control, and they're certainly easier to hold onto. But when I wa finished for the night, I set the ball on the pincushion, and stuck the needle into the ball firmly, as usual, and giggled.

Voodoo balls?

I can see jealous girlfriends, holding pairs of balls, gleefully peircing them with long needles and imagining their boyfriends' .........
