Musing
I'm about a third of the way through the afghan for Stan. The pattern is simple, just enough texture to break the stripes up a little bit and make it more interesting. The yarns are very soft, and all easy to care for (one less thing for Myrna to worry about). The colors are rich--garnet, chocolate brown, gold, and a purplish-grey-and-brown that works up into a light mottled granite tone.
And I'm almost in tears now, working on it, because every stitch reminds me of why I'm making it.
