Weekend in review
Now that I'm done ranting......
Not a productive weekend. Well, I guess that depends on how you define productive. By had a great haul of lumber from dumpster diving Saturday....completely filled the truck. Sunday, we &![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
classics_cat went to Meg's graduation from cosmetology school......it was good to see Meg & Andrew; the ceremony itself was painful to witness. Good thing I took my knitting in.
After the ceremony, we went to Lawrence to Jade for dinner, and watched Andrew discover the joys of crab legs. He kept us busy, once he discovered there was something edible in there, trying to fish the meat out for him. We went to the park and let him run dinner off, while we sat and digested and chatted. Good way to spend an evening.
Got a fair amount of knitting done. On the grey sweater, I got about 9" of the second sleeve done. Finished swatching for the tied-up tee, and now have about 6" done on the front and back (worked in one piece). Turns out I was short two skeins of yarn in that kit; the seller is supposed to be sending those out. Did the finishing details on the spiral rib socks and the first aran sandal sock on the way to Topeka. The second aran sandal sock is about 1 1/2" past the cuff. I guess that's progress.
