Knitting Reports

The Sock Report: Am 4.5" into Taran's kilt hose, after frogging the whole thing yesterday afternoon and starting over. It's much better now. I've simplified the cable on the foot, and I think it balances well. Certainly easier to knit (so, if I have to frog and redo for fit, it won't be as big a deal).

Got the ends woven in and toes grafted on the Aran sandal sox, which are Very Cute on my feet. Will try to get pictures soon....these socks deserve it.

The UnSock Report: Sprial Nebula Shawl is 27" deep now, and that ball of yarn is still going strong. I've passed the "it's got to be at least this size" point, so anything from here out is a bonus. Still trying to decide on the stripe of ribbon yarn.

By the way, Cat, if you want a creatively shaped but sinfully easy to knit wrap, this is THE pattern. Two-row pattern repeat, garter stitch, top down. And it's swirly. Might be worth buying more mohair loop just to try it :)
