treeskin | The sock report

I finished the first of By's blue socks last night, and I'm now about 1/3 up the foot on the second. Not bad, since the top of the foot on these is covered with a very intricate bit of knotwork. None of the rows are the same, so I have to check each off the graph as I finish it. Which is why I'm getting a little bored with this project, and have fallen under the "new pattern, new yarn" spell and started on a second pair of Turkish socks for myself. Green and beige toes, beige pattern on a mostly red ombre for the rest. It's taking on a Persian carpet sort of look that I quite like.
